If you have not been successful in booking a room at the Westin, you can book the Courtyard Jekyll Island hotel today by calling 912.635.2416 and asking for the GACDL room block rate or clicking here for online bookings. The room block at the Courtyard is available for hotel night stays on April 21 and April 22. The hotel may be able to accommodate you for the 23rd, depending on their availability. This room block is available for people attending the GACDL seminar and is open until 1 April!

If both hotels do not have any more rooms available, please request to be put on the wait list and notify us if you have any problems at 404- 248-1777.

If you wish to walk-in to this seminar, call 404-248- 1777 by Monday 18 April, 2022 to see whether or not seats are available. This seminar can sell out.

No cancellations after March 23, 2022, except if COVID related  (See  GACDL’s COVID-19 Guidelines and Protocols).  Please call  GACDL if the cancellation is COVID related. GACDL does not refund  for court matters. Substitutions are welcome. 

Details:

  • 10 CLE Hours (1 Professionalism, 1 Ethics, 6 Trial hours). CLE will only be reported upon registrants request for CLE.

  • A link to the seminar materials stored in Dropbox will be emailed to pre-paid attendees by 5 PM on Tuesday 19 April,  2022.  Please check your spam/junk mail folder as well as your inbox for this email.

  • Be sure the email address confirmed in your registration is correct. GACDL members can check their email address here.  

  • The Annual Family Friendly Cocktail Reception will be held on Thursday (21 April) and is sponsored by A 2nd Chance Bail Bonds.

GACDL’s COVID-19 Guidelines and Protocols:

At check-in for the seminar, attendees will be required to show a printed or electronic copy of a negative viral test from a testing site to show that you are not infected with SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19). There are two types of viral tests: rapid tests and laboratory tests. Your test must have been obtained within 72 hours (3 days) of attending the seminar and preferably as close in time as possible to the seminar. Proof of vaccination will not be required nor accepted in lieu of test results.

Masks will be required to be worn in the GACDL conference area (i.e., hallway, check-in, ballroom) unless you are actively eating or drinking.

We ask that you not attend the seminar if any of the following is true for you:

Anytime on or after 12 April, 2022 you have tested positive or been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19;

• Within 48 hours prior to attending the seminar you have experienced symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g., a fever of 100.4F or higher, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking muscle pain/achiness, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, nasal congestion, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19 identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention); or

Anytime on or after 12 April, 2022, you have travelled to any international territory identified by federal or applicable state or local governments as being subject to travel or quarantine advisories due to COVID-19.

These policies are subject to change, in accordance with state and local guidelines and changing circumstances. GACDL will be updating procedures as necessary as we get closer to April 21.
