    Registration: Registration closes at Noon on April 17, 2023.

    Everyone must pay for this seminar in advance or at the door. If you  register online and do not complete the payment process, please call  GACDL to let us know how you intend to pay.  If you register, do not  pay, and do not show up for the event, you will be billed.  Need help  with registration or have any questions?  Call 404-248- 1777.  

    If you wish to walk-in to this seminar, call 404-248- 1777 by Monday April 17, 2023 to see whether or not seats are available. This seminar can sell out.

    No cancellations after March 24, 2023, except if COVID related.  Please call  GACDL if the cancellation is COVID related. GACDL does not refund  for court matters. Substitutions are welcome.

    • The Annual Family Friendly Cocktail Reception will be held on Thursday (April 20) and is sponsored by A 2nd Chance Bail Bonds.   

    GACDL’s COVID-19 Guidelines and Protocols :

    Please take any precautions you would like (e.g., mask) given that:  

    • Proof of vaccination is NOT REQUIRED; 
    • Proof of a recent negative COVID-19 test is NOT REQUIRED; and
    • GACDL will NOT PROVIDE on-site COVID-19 testing for speakers or attendees. 

    To help ensure a safe seminar, please test at home within 24 hours of the seminar and do not attend if any of the following is true for you:

    • Anytime on or after April 15, 2023 you test positive for COVID-19; or
    • Within 48 hours prior to attending the seminar you experience symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g., a fever of 100.4F or higher, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking muscle pain/achiness, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, nasal congestion, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19 identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention).

    The 2023 Bill Daniel Trial Advocacy Program applications are now available HERE and on the GACDL website ! This popular program is by application and acceptance only. Acceptance notifications will begin to go out in May.  Apply early!

    Event Location: University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel
    Event Dates: August 23-26, 2023.


    Attendance for the entire program is mandatory.

    This prestigious program will accept 30 GACDL members. It is designed for members with limited trial experience. The program includes: trial skills training (CLE) with a nationally recognized group of faculty; lodging; social events; meals (all meals except two dinners); an opportunity to have approximately 22 hours of hands-on instruction; and important trial practice materials.

    The training will feature an outstanding and truly dedicated faculty of criminal defense practitioners who donate their time to this program. Last year's faculty included: Keith Adams, Carmen Brooks, Adrienne Browning, Wes Bryant, Angie Coggins, Arturo Corso, Sam Dennis, Devin Franklin, Erin Gerstenzang, Calvin R. Malone, Monica Myles, Zanele Ngubeni, Jason Sheffield, Ryan Swingle, Suzanne Tevis, Sandy Wallack, and Brett Willis.

    GCDLEF and GACDL scholarships subsidize most of the costs of this program as an investment in GACDL members. This program is offered at a substantially reduced rate to members.
